About this towel
Flat woven from Turkish yarn, this towel measures 39 by 71 inches. Wide enough to lie on, long enough to wrap around you after a swim. The knotted fringe runs across both ends, and the whole thing folds into its own drawstring bag, roughly 11.5 inches tall and 4 inches across. Sand shakes off the flat surface. Water moves through the cloth. It takes up about as much room as a water bottle.
Over a summer of salt water and sunscreen, a flat weave keeps its shape. There is no terry pile to mat down, so the towel dries quickly and never goes musty in the bag. Both faces are the same, so you can use one side all season and the other still looks new. Turn it over and you are not flipping to a back side. It is simply the same towel, viewed from the other side.
