How we keep this catalogue current
The catalogue was last updated on 21 August 2026. Prices move. Where the figure at checkout differs from the figure here, checkout is right.
This page explains how we keep the catalogue current. We publish only what we know, and we update those figures on a schedule. When something changes, we change it here. When we are not sure, we leave it out rather than guess. Each section below says where a kind of information comes from and how fresh it is. If you have a question, the answer is usually in one of these four notes.
Prices at checkout
We update the prices in our catalogue on a schedule. The figure you see is the one from our last update. If it ever differs from what shows at checkout, the checkout figure governs. Prices can move between our updates. We publish the newest number we have, and we do not mark a price as current beyond that date.
Colors and sizes
Every colorway is listed with the name the weave carries, the size in inches, and, for the hand towels, the weave pattern and how many towels are in the pack. The beach towel pages note that each towel comes in its own drawstring bag. We do not invent names or measurements. What you read is what the weave is called and what we measured.
Ratings per line
The star ratings and rating counts shown are the ones customers have left for that line, counted once per line rather than once per color. A line with forty colors does not multiply its own score. We report the average and the count as they stand at our last update, and we do not round the count up or down. A single colorway carries the line's score, since the weave and construction are the same across the range.
Sources and certificates
Where a page states something about a certificate or about the weaving tradition, we link the body that publishes it and give the date we read the page. That way you can follow the claim to its origin and see how recent it is. We do not restate a certificate or a tradition claim without that link and date. If the source changes, we update the page at our next scheduled pass.
